We provide all our services at no charge and very much care about all who come to us because we have been given a free gift. Children are a gift from God but one child was given as the greatest gift a loving God could give to all humanity. That child is Jesus Christ whose birth was announced by the angel of the Lord in amazing words: “unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11).

Why do you need a Saviour? We all think that we have tried to be good people and that our minor sins do not deserve the anger and punishment of God. However, God is holy and does not overlook even one failure to obey His laws: “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all” (James 2:10). Romans 3:23 says: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” which tells us that no one can escape the anger of God by avoiding sin or doing good things.

But God is a loving God and He provided a way of forgiveness of sin by coming to earth as Jesus Christ to suffer the punishment for our sins.. Further, He is the only way of forgiveness and escape from the penalty of sin: “the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

Receiving this gift is simple. If you truly believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins then you have this great gift. Of course if you believe that you have sins for which you need to be forgiven then you will be ashamed of them and ask God to forgive them. You will also be firmly convinced that you do not want to disobey God’s laws again and ask God to help you obey Him. That is called repentance. You will also be thankful and feel a need to do whatever your Saviour wants. This is giving the rulership of your life to Jesus Christ and makes Him your Lord as well as your Saviour. You will also want to tell others about this great gift because you care about them and want them to have the gift also. These are clear evidences that you have received the gift of forgiveness and eternal life with God.
